First ISI Lectures on Probability and Stochastic Processes

This three day workshop will be held on November 25, 26, 27, 2006 at Indian Statistical Institute, New Delhi Centre. There will be two mini courses in this workshop which are as follows:

• On Random Matrices by Arup Bose, ISI, Calcutta.
  • Please note that for this course printed notes will be given to the participants at the workshop.
• On Random Graphs by Siva Athreya, ISI, Bangalore.

In addition there will be many talks and discussions which will be decided according to the participants' interests.

• Note :

  • ISI, Delhi will provide on-campus accommodation including regular meals for 4 nights (November 24 - 27, 2006).
  • On Sunday, November 26, 2006 we will have special conference dinner. For that we would like to request the participants to pay Rs. 425.00 per person (the increase from previous approximate amount is because of the current market rate in New Delhi). However, this charge will be waived for the students, postdocs and retired faculty members (if any).
  • We will not be able to arrange for transportation to and/or from New Delhi air-port/rail station. Please do take a look at the following link for directions to reach the ISI, Delhi campus
