Abstract : We will discuss the Generalized Random Energy Model (GREM) proposed by B. Derrida. We will use the large deviation technique to get the free energy limit of GREM. The technique allow us to consider the model with external field and different choice of driving distributions. At the end of the talk we will discuss some open problems regarding fluctuation of partition function.
