Abstract: High throughput technologies are becoming more and more popular in genetics research. Microarrays are an example. Many of the methodology necessary to extract useful data from high throughput instruments are statistical in nature. In this talk I will describe examples where simple questions have been answered using some basic Statistics or using higher level Statistics.
