Ashokankur Datta
Ashokankur Datta is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, Shiv Nadar University, Greater Noida, U.P, India. His interest is in understanding environmental problems of the developing world with the help of tools from the field of economics. He is also interested in studying issues related to exclusion and discrimination in the context of India. His recent research is on green energy innovation in absence of commitment in climate policy, intra-community distributional effects of decentralization of forest management and impact of NREGA on distress migration. He received his PhD in Economics from Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi in 2012.
