Academics

The Economics and Planning Unit offers (1) a two year program in Masters in Quantitative Economics (MSQE) and (2) a Doctoral Program (usually five years with first two years being coursework) in economics. Both the programs are considered to be the best in the country. Students get to learn from some of the best faculty in the country. Our student to faculty ratio is very low. Students receive stipends and contigency grants to buy books. An active visitors program and seminar and conference schedule allows students to learn in an extremely stimulating environment with an opportunity to interact with the best faculty in the world.
