Recently, Kato and Jones (2010) used the M\"{o}bius transformation of the random variable following the von Mises distribution that provides a generalization of the wrapped Cauchy distribution and contains both symmetric and asymmetric families. In this paper we study the M\"{o}bius transformation of random variables following wrapped exponential and wrapped Laplace distributions, that also results in families containing both symmetric as well as asymmetric distributions. The resulting models are used on real data and contrasted with Kato and Jones model.
