The forth meeting of Lectures on Probability and Stochastic Processes will be held at Indian Statistical Institute, New Delhi during November 20 - 24, 2009.

There will be two minicourses:

  • Some Geometric Aspects of Boolean Models: Rahul Roy, ISI, New Delhi.
  • Information Theory: Rajesh Sundaresan, IISc, Bangalore

    All the lectures will be held in the auditorium.

    Please note that November 22, 2009 (Sunday) is a free day when we have an excursion in the morning. We will go for a heritage walk of the famous Chadni Chowk area near the Red Fort. The walk will be conducted by the Delhi Chapter of the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH). We will have two walk leaders who will be guiding us for the two hours walk. The walk will start in front of Red Fort at 9:00 hours. A bus will be leaving from the ISI, Delhi Campus at 8:15 hours.

    The official workshop dinner will be held on November 23, 2009 (Monday) at 19:00 hours at the Oh! Calcutta restaurant. For this a bus will be leaving the ISI, Delhi campus at 18:30 hours.
