 Sujaya Sircar is a Senior Research Fellow at the Indian Statistical Institute, New Delhi. She completed her masters from the Centre of International Trade and Development (with specialization in World Economy), Jawaharlal Nehru University. Her core research areas are Environmental Economics, Labour Economics and Development Economics. Her recent paper studies the impact of temperature on test performance of students in secondary education in India, which exploits the variation in test time temperature across test days for each student. The dataset consists of secondary (class X) students for the years 2012 to 2015 from the Central Board of Secondary Education (which is a board with an all-India presence).
