The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in assisting with various aspects of the research process, including data collection, analysis, and administrative tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in academic research within a dynamic and collaborative environment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities of the Position<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct literature reviews, assist in experimental design, and contribute to research methodology development.<\/li>\n<li>Collect, organize, and analyze research data using appropriate statistical and computational techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain software tools, scripts, or algorithms to support research projects.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with team members to ensure seamless coordination and communication during the research process.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in writing research papers, reports, or grant proposals<\/li>\n<li>Assist in organizing workshops\/conferences and other administrative tasks as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Background and Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree in Economics.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in research: In particular, High Proficiency in STATA; Passable knowledge of R, Python.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in extracting and handling large datasets is highly desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in conducting literature reviews and synthesizing research findings.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and meet project deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to learn new concepts, methodologies, and technologies relevant to the research domain, as well as the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The salary will be competitive.
