She holds a PhD in Economics from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode. She was a post-doctoral fellow at the Delhi School of Economics and the Institute of Economic Growth, and a Visiting PhD Fellow and Consultant at UNU-WIDER. Her research focuses on social mobility, intersectionality, and stratification economics.
