Prof. Rahul Roy will be retiring on October 31, 2024 after more than 3 decades of service in the Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi Centre. To celebrate the association of Prof. Roy with the institute, a Conference on Probability Theory is being organized in his honour from October 27th to October 28th, 2024.

Prof. Roy's contributions in probability theory, specially Percolation theory, Random graphs etc. are well known. His book (jointly with Ronald Meester) on Continuum Percolation remains the bible in the subject even after nearly 3 decades of publication.
