The SQC & OR Division of the Institute is engaged in Teaching, Research, Training and Consultancy to industries/organizations through 10 units located in different parts of the country.

Ph.D and M. Tech. courses in Quality, Reliability & Operations Research (Q, R & OR), PG diploma and certificate courses in SQC & OR are offered in SQC & OR Division.

This division is a pioneer in promoting application of Statistics, Reliability Engineering and operations research in India for more than five decades.
