About the Conference:

The 20th EfD Annual Meeting is organized by the Centre for research on the Economics of Climate, Food, Energy, and Environment (CECFEE) at the Indian Statistical Institute, and the IJCCC at the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode with the collaboration of the EfD network.

The conference will be at the Indian Institute of Management in Kozhikode, Kerala, India from 12-14 November 2026.

Call for Papers:

CECFEE has announced a call for papers for the 20th EfD Annual Meeting, the largest international conference on environmental economics applied to developing countries.

Only full paper submissions will be accepted, with each paper having an abstract of no more than 250 words. Submissions should engage with themes at the intersection of environment, development, and sustainability. While the conference will be mainly in-person, there will be some hybrid sessions to accommodate EfD members unable to attend in person.

The submission deadline is 15th June 2026.
