Responsibilities of the Position:

• Gather, organize, analyze and model research data using appropriate statistical and computational techniques.
• Develop statistical methodology to modelling spatiotemporal data in the presence of missing data.
• Implement and maintain statistical software tools, scripts, or algorithms to support research projects.
• Work closely with team members to ensure seamless coordination and communication during the research process.
• Writing research papers, reports, or grant proposals.
• Assist in organizing workshops/conferences and other administrative tasks as required.

Background and Qualifications:

• PhD degree in Statistics, Data-science or related field.
• Experience of developing statistical methodology and analysis of diverse data sets.
• Strong quantitative research skills with experience in data analysis and statistical software (such as R, Python etc.).
• Independent and skill of writing technical reports, research proposals, and scientific papers.
• Proficiency in extracting and handling large datasets is highly desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and meet project deadlines.
• Willingness to learn new concepts, methodologies, and technologies relevant to the research domain, as well as the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements.

Location: Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Delhi

The consolidated salary will be INR 45000 per month. Interested candidates must fill this application form.
