A conference on Probability & Stochastic Processes

Professor Rajeeva L. Karandikar is one of the leading probabilists in India. He has been an esteemed researcher, teacher and colleague in ISI over many years. He has been a multi-faceted academician, interacting with the Government, the Industry and of course, with other researchers and students. He has left an indelible mark in every endeavour of his and in his several different avatars –be it in ISI, in the Industry or as Director of Chennai Mathematical Institute.

Professor Karandikar completed 65 years of age in 2021. A conference on ‘Probability & Stochastic Processes’ is planned in his honour on this occasion.

While we would have loved to have a physical conference at the Delhi Centre of the Indian Statistical Institute, given the current situation, the conference Is being held online.
