Information regarding visa:


Most non-Indians need an entry visa in order to enter India. As per the new requirements from the Governement of India, you will be required to apply for Conference visa, and not the Tourist visa. The conference visa is granted for the period of the conference and the travelling time only, but if you would like to combine tourism with the conference, the missions can grant visas for the extended period of up to 6 months.


To provide you with the official invitation letter, the organizers need the following information from you:
1. Name (as mentioned in the passport):
    First name:
    Second name:
2. Father's name (as mentioned in the passport):
3. Nationality:
4. Date of birth:
5. Place of birth:
6. Passport number:
7. Date and place of issue:
8. Date of expiry:
9. Address (as mentioned in the passport):
Provide the answers to 2 and 9, even if they are not mentioned in the passport. Also, send scanned copies of the relevant pages of the passport containing the above information.
