Seminar at SMU Delhi

In today's context of global connectivity through networks, security of Data as well as communication is of paramount importance not only for Govt/Military but is equally important for civil people. Security is to be kept in mind for developing/using any applications where information is processed in digital form through out the Information Cycle - 'creation' to 'deletion' . In this talk, it is planned to discuss various information security goals - confidentiality, integrity & availability (CIA) and technologies available for achieving these goals. The focus would be on the security challenges and how cryptography and Hash functions help in meeting these challenges. Emphasis would also be on the mathematical concepts which are used in present day crypto solutions and their complexity.
