Title: Joint Model for ordinal longitudinal and time-to-event data and related inferences
Abstract of Talk
A common objective in longitudinal studies is to characterize the relationship between a longitudinal response process and a time-to-event data. Ordinal nature of the longitudinal response adds complications to the joint model. Some other conditions like influential observations, missing covariates and drop out may add more complexities in the likelihood. In this talk, a joint model based on ordinal linear/nonlinear/partial mixed model and a proportional hazard model/ accelerated failure time (AFT) model will be discussed, to account for the repeated ordered response and time-to-event data, respectively. Alongwith the classical MLE, two robust estimation techniques will be reported.
