Welcome to Computer Centre, ISID

Computer Centre caters to the needs of different academic units, departments and various sections of the Institute. IT services at ISID are managed through Computer Centre. The Computer Centre is governed by Computer Committee. Computer Committee also defines the IT policies and update them periodically.

The mission of Computer Centre at ISID is to create and maintain IT environment for the pursuit of academic excellence. The ultimate aim of Computer Centre is to provide services to promote and assist the use of new computing technologies among the students, staff and administration.

Computer Centre manages various computing and IT based communication facilities throughout the campus. Computer Centre with adequate number of desktop systems is available for independent study and learning with support from technical staff.

Computer Centre administers and manages the entire Campus Computer Network which includes Units, Departments, Main Administrative Building, Hostels and the Guest House. Network Connectivity is also provided to the Institute’s residential buildings, Transit Flats etc.

Computer Centre provide Web-based Email (Webmail: roundcube) that enables all the users to access their mailbox from anywhere (inside or outside ISID) via the Internet.

Computer Centre also provide various advanced and special purpose softwares such as STATA, Matlab, Mathematica, Maple, Scientific Workplace, etc. for all the campus users.
