This service enables you to access your mailbox from anywhere (inside or outside ISID) via the Internet. The current access is via ROUNDCUBE Webmail Software. Given below is some information about the roundcube webmail:

Email facility is provided to the user upon receiving request by submitting CC-Access Form to Computer Centre.

The email address of the user is username[at]isid[dot]ac[dot]in

Maximum size of outgoing mail can be 25 MB, and the maximum size of incoming mail can be 25MB. If the mail size exceeds the limit, you will receive the email delivery failure notice.

Deleted mail box can be retrieved from the Backup on request, provided the request is made within a 15 days of the deletion date. Note: Email backups are available for the date before 48 Hrs. of the current date. For Example, if today is June 10 2020 then the last backup is available from date end of day June 7, 2020.

Computer Centre is also maintaining alias lists to send emails to a group of users. The detailed information is available with Help Desk Team.

Unauthorized Access

Do not share your e-mail id Login credentials: username and password with anyone. If you receive a phone call or an email message like e-mail quota exceeded or e-mail requesting such information (scammers may try to make their phishing email look like legitimate Computer Centre, ISID alerts), please report the incident to the IT Help Desk. Remember, no one from Computer Centre will ever ask for your password and never send any email alerts with links.
