ISID Wired Network
If you are in ISID campus, and would like to connect your computer/laptop/network printer or any other network device to ISID’s wired network, then please do the following:
- Check if you have the network outlet in your office/flat/guesthouse room. If you don’t have one, please contact us at intercom nos. 909/906 or write an e-mail to ccsupport[at]isid[dot]ac[dot]in.
- You must have a network cable. In case of no network cable available (except Hostel) or short length cable (except Hostel, Resident Flats) or damaged cable, then Computer Centre will do the needful after checking the same.
- If the above-mentioned points are okay and connected, then you can directly connect your Ethernet device to the available network cable.
- Our Wired network is a mix of Both: static IP and DHCP addressing schemes.
The static/fixed IP address will be assigned by Computer Centre.
Note: Computer Centre does not take the responsibility to configure your personal network devices.
